Is there a lot of diversity? Are people in Zurich accepting of differences?

"Yes, there is a lot of diversity in Zurich. From all kinds of different cultures, backgrounds and nationalities people move to the city to work and study, making it an incredibly diverse and cosmopolitan place. Zurich is also very accepting of differences, and it is a very tolerant, open-minded city where diversity is celebrated," remarked another expat who made the move to Zurich, Switzerland.

"There is cultural diversity in Zurich although I'm not sure how accepting the Swiss are in the short time I have been here. As a single working mother and black, I feel somewhat isolated. It's not so easy to meet people. Also being a black professional I am disappointed that I haven't seen any black professionals around. I hope to be proved wrong," explained one expat living in Zurich, Switzerland.
