People from all over the world come to visit and live in Phuket, and the city is known for its acceptance of different cultures and beliefs. The local population is made up of a mix of Thai, Chinese, Indian, and Muslim communities, and there is a strong sense of tolerance and respect for one another. People in Phuket are generally welcoming and accepting of differences, and the city is a great place to experience different cultures and lifestyles," remarked another expat who made the move to Phuket, Thailand.
