The International School of Heidelberg (ISHe) is a private, non-profit school offering an international education to students from pre-school to grade 12. The Heidelberg American International School (HAIS) is a private, non-profit school offering an American-style education to students from pre-school to grade 12. HAIS is accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and offers a rigorous academic program in English, with German and French as foreign languages. The school also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and art," explained one expat living in Heidelberg, Germany.
"The schoool is a great place for your children, as I have previously mentioned they run the IB PYP programme which is excellent. The teachers are all highly qualified from various countries around the world and truly international. From grades 6-10 the school follows the IB MYP and it is in the process of applying to teach the IB Diploma (grade 11 & 12) in Aug 2009," said one parent with children at Heidelberg International School in Heidelberg.
