"As a foreigner living in Seoul, you will have access to public healthcare, provided you have registered for the National Health Insurance (NHI) program. The NHI program covers both Korean nationals and foreigners, offering comprehensive medical services at affordable rates. Public healthcare in Seoul is known for its high-quality medical facilities, well-trained professionals, and advanced technology. However, you may experience longer waiting times in public hospitals compared to private ones. Additionally, language barriers might be a challenge, as not all medical staff may be fluent in English. It is advisable to have a Korean-speaking friend or translator to assist you during medical appointments," wrote a member who made the move to Seoul, Korea.
