As a foreigner living in Jeddah, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?
We asked expats in Jeddah if they have access to public healthcare in Jeddah. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...
"As a foreigner living in Jeddah, you will have access to public healthcare, but the quality and availability of services may vary. Public hospitals and clinics in Saudi Arabia are generally well-equipped and staffed by qualified professionals. However, they can be crowded, and waiting times may be long. Many expats and foreigners prefer to use private healthcare facilities, which offer a higher standard of care and shorter waiting times, but at a higher cost. It is recommended to have comprehensive health insurance to cover any medical expenses while living in Jeddah," explained one expat living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
