"When looking for housing in Sydney, it is important to research the area thoroughly and consider the cost of living in the area. It is also important to consider the commute to work and other amenities such as public transport, shops, and restaurants. It is also advisable to look for a place that is close to the beach or other attractions. Additionally, it is important to be aware of the rental market in Sydney and to be prepared to negotiate with landlords. Finally, it is important to be aware of the different types of housing available in Sydney, such as apartments, houses, and townhouses," explained one expat living in Sydney, Australia.
"Major problem in Sydney is housing. Rent and mortgages are ludicrously expensive. Think NYC, San Francisco and London levels. This is driving a lot of people to leave. Myself included, we are moving to Tasmania as soon as we can," said another in Sydney, Australia.
