"I am in an excellent position as my wife owns a condominium in a great part of the city. I've never had to look for housing but it seems to me to be as terrible a situation as New York, Chicago or San Francisco. You pay way too much and get microboxes and wretched infrastructure. I would be afraid to purchase anything but an efficiency here," said another expat in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
