Where will I buy groceries and do other shopping in Playa Jaco?

Answer this Question

When we asked people living in Playa Jaco about good local restaurants, they mentioned...

"Playa Jaco is a popular destination for expats, and there are plenty of places to buy groceries and do other shopping. Super Compro is a popular grocery store located in the center of town, and it offers a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, and other items. For more specialized items, there is the Automercado, which is a large supermarket with a wide variety of international products. For those looking for a more traditional shopping experience, there is the Jaco Beach Market, which offers a variety of local crafts and souvenirs. Additionally, there are several small convenience stores located throughout the town, which offer basic items such as snacks and drinks. Finally, there are several clothing stores, jewelry stores, and other specialty shops located in the downtown area," said a member in Playa Jaco, Costa Rica.
