"Local medical facilities in Almaty are among the most modern and well-equipped in the region. There is a wide range of advanced medical treatments available, in both government and private hospitals, as well as numerous specialized clinics. The city is a regional hub for medical tourism and many international standards of care are met. Healthcare services are mostly high quality, though there are some issues with accessibility, particularly at private hospitals, which can be costly," wrote a member who made the move to Almaty, Kazakhstan.
