To apply for a non-immigrant visa, applicants must submit a valid passport, a completed visa application form, two passport-sized photographs, proof of financial means, and a letter of invitation from a Thai citizen or organization. Once the visa is approved, applicants must then apply for a work permit or a residence permit. The work permit is valid for up to one year and can be extended for up to three years. The residence permit is valid for up to five years and can be extended for up to ten years.
