"In order to visit Sao Paulo, visitors must obtain a visa from the Brazilian Embassy or Consulate in their home country. The visa application process requires applicants to submit a valid passport, a completed visa application form, a passport-sized photograph, and proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of the stay. Depending on the type of visa, additional documents may be required. In order to obtain residency in Sao Paulo, Brazil, applicants must first obtain a temporary visa from the Brazilian Embassy or Consulate in their home country. After arriving in Brazil, applicants must register with the Federal Police and obtain a temporary residence permit. This permit must be renewed every two years. In order to obtain permanent residency, applicants must have lived in Brazil for at least four years and must provide proof of sufficient funds to support themselves. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of a clean criminal record and must pass a medical examination," wrote a member who made the move to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
