We asked expat moms who gave birth in Ukraine about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"It is important to research the healthcare system in Ukraine before having a baby there. Make sure to find a reliable doctor or midwife who speaks your language and is familiar with the local healthcare system. Additionally, it is important to be aware of the cultural norms and expectations surrounding childbirth in Ukraine. It is also a good idea to have a support system in place, such as family or friends, to help you during the pregnancy and after the baby is born. Finally, make sure to take the necessary steps to ensure that your baby is registered with the local authorities and that you have all the necessary documents for your baby to be able to travel in and out of Ukraine," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Ukraine.
