Consider taking a childbirth education class to learn more about the birthing process and what to expect. 3. Ask other expats in Kyrgyzstan for advice and support. 4. Make sure to have a plan for after the baby is born, such as childcare and transportation. 5. Familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations regarding birth certificates and other paperwork. 6. Have a plan for how you will handle any medical emergencies that may arise. 7.
