We asked retirees what they find the most rewarding about retiring in Thailand. They wrote...

"One of the most rewarding aspects of retiring in Thailand is the vibrant culture and the opportunity to immerse oneself in a range of different activities. From the wide variety of authentic Thai cuisine to the endless array of temples dotted around the country, there's always something new to explore. The cultural history is also fascinating, and retirees can enjoy delving into the country's past. Another attractive feature of Thailand is its relatively low cost of living, making it possible to live a comfortable life on a smaller budget. In addition, the tropical climate provides the perfect setting for outdoor activities such as swimming, sunbathing and exploring the natural beauty that surrounds Thailand. Finally, the friendly locals make it easy for expats to adjust to the new environment and feel welcome," explained one expat living in Thailand.
