"Living in Malaysia in retirement offers the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant and peaceful lifestyle in a beautiful country with a year-round warm climate. The cost of living is much lower compared to many Western countries, which allows retirees to enjoy a comfortable standard of living on a limited budget. There are a variety of outdoor activities and attractions to explore, from beaches and islands to rainforests and mountains. Furthermore, retirees can access excellent healthcare and high-quality medical services. Socializing is also easy and fun due to Malaysia's diverse cultural mix, with a variety of activities such as festivals, markets, and food choices. With its friendly people, interesting culture, and diverse landscape, Malaysia is a great destination for retirement," remarked another expat who made the move to Malaysia.
"Meeting new people with different viewpoints than those from my own country. Seeing new places and cultures. I also have time to write on topics that I had little time to while teaching full-time," explained one expat living in Kuching, Malaysia.
