"Retiring in Ukraine can be an affordable and enjoyable option for those looking for a lower cost of living, warmer climates and access to rural areas for rest and relaxation. The country has a high standard of living compared to other neighboring regions, as well as a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Living in Ukraine offers retirees a unique experience as the country has many cultural and folkloric traditions, as well as a variety of activities and attractions. Retirees will find there are plenty of opportunities to make the most out of their retirement with activities ranging from local festivals and sightseeing, to skiing, tennis and golf. In addition, Ukraine has a vibrant nightlife with plenty of bars, pubs and clubs to explore. Furthermore, healthcare and medical services are affordable and improved in recent years, providing an extra level of security for retirees. Finally, Ukraine remains an attractive option for those looking for a more peaceful and laidback lifestyle in an affordable and low-cost country," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Ukraine.
