We asked expats if they save money living in Japan. They said...

"Living in Japan can be more affordable than living in the United States in some ways. The cost of living in Japan is generally lower than in the United States, with rent and utilities being particularly cheaper. Additionally, food costs in Japan are generally lower than in the United States, with fresh produce and seafood being especially affordable. Furthermore, public transportation in Japan is very efficient and cost-effective, making it a great option for getting around. All of these factors can help to make living in Japan more affordable than living in the United States," remarked another expat in Japan.
