We asked expats if they save money living in Netherlands. They said...

"Living in The Netherlands may be a less expensive option than typical living costs in the United States. Shopping and purchasing goods may cost less compared to the US, while taxes and utilities may be higher. Housing may be relatively more expensive, with rental prices slightly higher than in other European countries, but in many cases less than what would be found in the United States. Additionally, whilst health care may be more costly, the Netherlands provides universal health care for all citizens, making it a viable and less expensive option if health care is required," said a member in Netherlands.
