What are healthcare services like in Mongolia?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Mongolia. They wrote...

"Mongolia has a public healthcare system that provides basic medical services to its citizens. The country has a network of hospitals, clinics, and health centers that provide primary care services such as immunizations, maternal and child health care, and preventive health services. In addition, there are specialized hospitals and clinics that provide specialized care for more serious medical conditions. The government also provides financial assistance to those who cannot afford medical care. In recent years, Mongolia has seen an increase in the number of private healthcare providers, offering a wider range of services," remarked another expat in Mongolia.
