What are healthcare services like in Nigeria?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Nigeria. They wrote...

"Healthcare services in Nigeria are generally limited and of variable quality. Access to healthcare is often limited due to a lack of resources and infrastructure, and the cost of care can be prohibitively expensive for many people. The public health system is often underfunded and understaffed, leading to long wait times and inadequate care. Private healthcare is available, but it is often expensive and out of reach for many people. The government has made efforts to improve access to healthcare, but much more needs to be done to ensure that all Nigerians have access to quality healthcare," remarked another expat who made the move to Nigeria.
