"Crime is a major problem in Russia, with a wide range of criminal activities taking place. Organized crime is particularly prevalent, with gangs and syndicates operating in many cities. Corruption is also widespread, with bribery and extortion commonplace. Violent crime is also a concern, with reports of robberies, assaults, and murders occurring regularly," remarked another expat who made the move to Russia.
