Expats could also look to join groups or organisations that are directly related to their line of work as well as music, art, language and other cultural groups. Additionally, volunteering is a great way to meet people and give back to the community. Online forums and social media groups are also fantastic avenues for expats to connect with one another," remarked another expat who made the move to Australia.
