How do I meet people in Cyprus?
When we asked people living in Cyprus about club and activities where newcomers can meet others, they responded...
"Expats in Cyprus often join clubs and activities such as golf, tennis, sailing, and hiking. Expats can also join local language classes, book clubs, and art classes. Additionally, many expats join expat-specific clubs and organizations, such as the Cyprus Expat Network, which provides a platform for expats to connect and share experiences. Other ways that expats meet people in Cyprus include attending local festivals and events, joining local sports teams, and attending church services. Additionally, many expats find it helpful to join online forums and social media groups related to their interests," remarked another expat who made the move to Cyprus.
"Cyprus is a free and easy place where 90 percent speak English. Most of Cyprus life reveolves around small cafes and bars," explained one expat living in Limassol, Cyprus.
