"Foreigners often have jobs in Bermuda in the hospitality industry, such as working in hotels, restaurants, and bars. They may also work in the tourism industry, providing services such as tour guiding and transportation. Other jobs that foreigners may have in Bermuda include teaching, working in finance, and providing professional services such as accounting and legal advice," wrote a member who made the move to Bermuda.

"Offshore Insurance and Tourism. Government has a policy of actively recruiting Bermudians so any expat here must be better qualified than a local (not hard!) and there must not be a local who can do the job. Very few opportunities to move jobs once here - permit is issued for specific job for specific time frame," explained one expat living in Hamilton, Bermuda.
