When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Costa Rica, they reponded...

"Foreigners often find jobs in Costa Rica in the hospitality and tourism industry, such as resorts, restaurants, and travel agencies. They can also work in fields such as teaching English, computer programming, construction, and agricultural work. Administrative, coaching, and marketing positions are also available to foreigners in Costa Rica," remarked another expat in Costa Rica.

"The main industry here is tourism. most people moving here start there own business or end up working for a pre-existing one or...teaching English for one of the many schools in the area," said a member in Montezuma, Costa Rica.
