Will I be able to find a job in Laos?
When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Laos, they reponded...
"Foreigners often work in Laos as English teachers, tour guides, hospitality workers, and in various other service industry jobs. They may also work in the IT sector, as well as in the banking and finance industries. Additionally, some foreigners may find employment in the agricultural sector, such as in farming or forestry," remarked another expat who made the move to Laos.
"There aren't a lot of career opportunities here. Most wouldn't come here UNLESS they already have a job in Lao ready to go. I guess the main industry would be in mining," explained one expat living in Vientiane, Laos.
