What should I pack when moving to Kuwait?
We asked people living in Kuwait to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...
"When moving to Kuwait, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and culture. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing that will keep you cool in the hot, humid climate. Bring a few items of modest clothing, such as long skirts and loose-fitting tops, to respect the local customs. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are also essential for protecting yourself from the sun. Additionally, pack any necessary medications, toiletries, and personal items. Don't forget to bring a few items to make your new home feel like home, such as photos, books, and decorations," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Kuwait.
"I wish I had brought: Horseradish, Safeguard soap beige, Pictures of family I wish I had left behind: Some of my clothes, Some of my paperwork, An old friend (lol)," commented one expat who made the move to Fintas, Kuwait.
