What do I need to know before moving to Cambodia?
When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Cambodia, they said...
"Cambodia is a beautiful and diverse country with a rich culture and history. Expats should be aware that the language spoken in Cambodia is Khmer, and it is important to learn some basic phrases before moving. Expats should also be aware that the cost of living in Cambodia is relatively low, but the quality of goods and services may not be as high as in other countries. Additionally, expats should be aware that the healthcare system in Cambodia is not as developed as in other countries, and it is important to have adequate health insurance. Finally, expats should be aware that the climate in Cambodia is tropical, with hot and humid weather year-round," said a member in Cambodia.
