Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Dominica if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Roseau, the capital of Dominica, is home to a wide variety of medical specialists, including general practitioners, surgeons, and specialists in cardiology, neurology, and oncology. The nearby towns of Portsmouth and Marigot also have a selection of medical specialists, including dentists, optometrists, and gynecologists. Additionally, the northern part of the island, including the towns of Calibishie and Wesley, is home to a variety of medical specialists, such as pediatricians, orthopedists, and physical therapists," said another expat in Dominica.
