Are common prescription medications available in Germany?
When we asked expats in Germany if common prescription medications are available in Germany, they wrote...
"Yes, common prescription medications are available in Germany. Most medications are available through pharmacies, and some are available over the counter. Prescriptions are usually required for medications that are not available over the counter. In addition, some medications may require special authorization from the government before they can be obtained," said a member in Germany.
