As a foreigner living in South Africa, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?
We asked expats in South Africa if they have access to public healthcare in South Africa. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...
"Yes, foreigners living in South Africa have access to public healthcare. The public healthcare system in South Africa is generally of a good standard, with a wide range of services available. However, there are some areas where the quality of care is not as good as in other parts of the world. In addition, access to public healthcare can be limited in some areas due to a lack of resources," remarked another expat in South Africa.
