As a foreigner living in Uzbekistan, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?

Answer this Question

We asked expats in Uzbekistan if they have access to public healthcare in Uzbekistan. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...

"Yes, foreigners living in Uzbekistan have access to public healthcare. The quality of care varies depending on the region, but generally the public healthcare system is well-equipped and staffed with experienced professionals. The government has invested heavily in modernizing the healthcare system, and there are a number of hospitals and clinics throughout the country that provide quality care. In addition, the government provides free or low-cost healthcare to citizens and foreigners alike," explained one expat living in Uzbekistan.
