"I enjoyed the comments regarding life here in the South of France - namely in the lovely village of Roquebrun. I fully agree. I have lived at Thezan, near Roquebrun, for eight years and almost without exception, have met friendliness and inclusiveness by the local french - despite my language shortcomings," wrote a member who made the move to France.

"We are very happy here despite our lack of language skills. People have been very friendly and have helped us in many ways to overcome some of the difficulties we have faced. I cannot think of anything I dislike about the place," explained one expat living in St Nicolas du Pelem, France.
