What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?
When we asked expats and global nomads in Malaysia about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...
"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the healthcare system in Malaysia. The government has implemented a range of measures to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare workers, including the introduction of telemedicine services, the provision of personal protective equipment, and the implementation of social distancing protocols. The healthcare system has also seen an increase in the number of patients seeking medical attention, leading to longer wait times and increased pressure on the system. Despite these challenges, the healthcare system in Malaysia has been able to provide quality care to those in need," remarked another expat who made the move to Malaysia.
