Are foreigners allowed to own property in Ukraine?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Ukraine if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Ukraine. According to Ukrainian law, foreign citizens and stateless persons are allowed to own real estate in Ukraine, including land, buildings, and apartments. However, foreign citizens and stateless persons are not allowed to own agricultural land in Ukraine. Additionally, foreign citizens and stateless persons must obtain a permit from the Ukrainian government in order to purchase real estate in Ukraine," said another expat in Ukraine.
