Are foreigners allowed to own property in Bahrain?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Bahrain if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Bahrain. The Bahraini government has implemented a number of laws and regulations that allow foreign investors to purchase and own real estate in the country. Foreigners are allowed to own land, residential and commercial properties, and even agricultural land. However, there are certain restrictions in place, such as the requirement to obtain a permit from the Ministry of Housing before purchasing a property. Additionally, foreign investors are not allowed to own more than one property in Bahrain," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Bahrain.
