Are foreigners allowed to own property in Grenada?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Grenada if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Grenada. The country has a well-established legal system that allows for foreign ownership of real estate. The process is relatively straightforward and involves obtaining a Certificate of Title from the local Land Registry Office. The Certificate of Title is the legal document that proves ownership of the property. Additionally, foreigners are allowed to purchase land in Grenada, but they must obtain a permit from the Ministry of Finance before doing so," said a member in Grenada.
