However, the cost of living in the capital city of Mogadishu is significantly higher than in the rest of the country. A nice 1 bedroom apartment in Mogadishu can cost around $500 per month, while a nice 2 bedroom apartment can cost around $700 per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Somalia can cost around $10 per person," said another in Somalia.
