CityUnscripted ( was launched in April 2016 and further to the success in London UK, we expanded globally and launched in 12 additional cities in October 2016 and we have many more new cities coming soon. We connect travellers to the people, places and things that make a city unique; replicating the experience of spending time in a city with a friend who lives there. We believe that the best travel moments come from going beneath the surface of a destination and discovering it through a local lens.

Guests select or are matched with a like-minded and vetted Local Host who knows the city intimately and shares the guest's interests, allowing them to create a personalised and authentic city experience. Experiences range from sharing of advice over a coffee to discovering a small neighbourhood or the city as a whole together. Our existing locals range from Actresses, Writers, Students to stay at home parents, all of whom love to meet people in their own time. - Like the idea of showing small groups of people (up to 6) around Tokyo for a 2-8 hours at a time
