International Primary School Childcare Manager

International Primary School Childcare Manager (22-24 hours per week) Are you able to coach a team and do you possess entrepreneurial skills? Are you decisive and able to prioritize? Do you have experience as a manager and a strong pedagogical background? Do you enjoy building strong business relationships in the community and networking? IPS Childcare Manager You will manage all staff and daily activities of the IPS Childcare Center. You and your team will create a positive environment for all children. Parents will feel confident when bringing their children to a safe childcare center offering a large selection of challenging activities.Through constant coaching and hands-on management, you and your team will be able ensure a high pedagogical level of care.

You will also be responsible for giving your team the necessary insights to grow and maintain high quality standards for your childcare center, whilst also staying on track, prioritizing and reaching set goals. You will ensure that parents’ needs are met by maintaining daily contact as needed. You have a “can-do” mentality and are able to connect and build a strong partnership with the community.

Working days and hours negotiable.

Qualifications:

Job requirements

-A bachelor’s degree in education or pedagogy (equivalent of Dutch 4-year HBO education)

- At least three years’ experience as a manager preferably in childcare or education;

- In possession of a childcare diploma is a plus;

- Experience in professionally and assertively managing communication with schools and the municipality;

- Native English speaker or equivalent, with a good knowledge of the Dutch spoken language;

- Excellent organizational and team-building skills;

- Interest in sports activities a plus;

- Team player with a “hands-on” mentality.
