I am a Certified Counselor with the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (Reg. #10006054) currently living in Cuenca, Ecuador. I work from a client centered approach and integrate Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed practices into my work. I am also trained in John Gottman and Sue Johnson's Couples therapy.

My work is based on mutual respect, transparency and the conviction that every individual possesses the strength and wisdom to grow in the midst of their challenges. I strive to create an atmosphere free of judgement where the patient feels accepted, understood and ready to deal with their life issues.

I apply my skills in areas such as addiction and behavioral problems, emotional trauma, couples work, grief and loss, eating disorders, life transitions, work stress and career orientation.

My practice is all inclusive and welcome all, without discrimination of sexual orientation, identity or religious beliefs. Every person deserves to be heard and discover their potential.
