My name is Angie Leon, and I’m the Stereotypical American. I’m Midwest-born, East Coast-raised, and thousands of miles away from home. I never thought I would ever leave the US of A (except for the occasional vacation). But one day, I randomly messaged a Danish guy on a dating site, and six months later I moved to Copenhagen to be with him. So now, I’m a Philly girl adjusting to the Scandinavian lifestyle and realizing just how American I really am. This is my attempt to keep track of my adventures and my (sometimes awkward) experiences. So join me as I embrace the concept of hygge, butcher the Danish language, and explore the city with my pint-sized puppy, Sherlock Holmesboi.
