travel to Corozal

I have been trying to find the cheapest and least aggravating way to get to Corozal from the US.. So far the best way I can come up with is to fly into Cancun and take the luxury bus to Chetumal. I was wondering if flying into Chetumal or Corozal is possible. Can anyone help. Flying into Belize City is expensive and it is hard to get from Belize City to Corozal except a not so cheap flight
