Nice family neighborhood in Stuttgart

We will be moving to Stuttgart 9/13 and would like to live in a small single family house suited for a family of 4. We would like a safe nice neighborhood not too far from Mohringen since that's where my husband will be living. Also, would like to be close to transportation, parks, germans, public pool (freibad) and walking distance to shops, bakeries and grocery stores. Please send me your advise....I've heard that Killesberg is nice but I'm not finding houses....also, Degerloch....Thank you!
