Advice for living in Germany for 90 days?

My husband and I will be in Germany for about 3 months next year. He's gotten an internship through college! Yay! But we are wanting all the advice we can get. Packing checklists, places to see, how to dress, German etiquette, important documents we need to take and so on and so forth. Any information would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advice!
