Recommendations for a good western sociable hotel?

Hi there...have infact just posted a message before.

Can anyone recommend a good hotel, with lots of socialising potential that i may be able to request being put up in to my employers?

Am a 25 year old, female here on my own. Currently i'm staying in Le Meridien, Starwood, but am finding it more of a business hotel with lots of Saudi men and no possiblity for me to get out my room to meet anyone, simply for a chat or smile!

Since i'm not in a compound for these short stints I think i'd like to at least ask for a different hotel environment with perhaps holidayers etc.

Any recommendations?
