Shopping

I'll apologise in advance as I'm neither in Glasgow or Edinburgh. I'm on the West Coast and the stores I'll speak about are found everywhere in Scotland. I can't be specific as to which one is where. LOL!

Asda for the incoming Americans, is the best for transition between your regular shopping in the USA and now in Scotland.

Secondly, I recommend Lidl, Aldi and Iceland. If you're on a tight budget, these three will save you money and have great foods and household stuff for cleaning your home plus aisles after aisles of special items from shoes to bedding, PJ's, kitchenware and more.

Iceland and Farmfoods are the freezer specialists. Then for every day items, HomeBargains, B&M stores, The Range & Poundland are great to fulfill your need of small kitchen items, bathrooms and the likes. They're easily found online, so you can check them out.

Takeaway as orders to take-out are known here, are plenty and available all around. Chinese, Indian, pizzas and currys. McDonald's, Burger King, Domino's & Pizza Hut. However, I'd recommend you try the small family owned shops. Honestly, you'll find some amazing foods for a monthly treat.

Finally, there's a scattering of Shopping Malls to be found. Who doesn't know Marks and Spencers, right? ? Enjoy!
