Anyone at a port of entry with history of travel to one of these 16 countries is assessed for symptoms and isolated at a healthcare facility if symptomatic. Additionally, Brazil’s Ministry of Health announced on February 26, 2020 that it recommends that citizens not travel to northern Italy.
The Ministry of Health continues to hold regular press conferences with updates and open question and answer sessions. Traditional and social media are covering the global outbreak and Brazil-specific issues extensively.
