Immigration Help

After having just been through the process of gaining residency I would suggest that anyone coming here use the very reasonably priced services of a lawyer. The immigration procedures here are quite straightforward yet frustrating due to the antiquity of the process both in the facilities and the " thinking" of the agents. Think 1980's is what our lawyer explained. SEF offices are overcrowded everyday and understaffed and different languages are a trial for most employees.
If you need assistance with the SEF in Portugal, here is a great attorney's contact info:
Rita Avelar
(961) 614-883
ritaquintinoavelar.advogada
Pc Dr Francisco Sá Carneiro, Lt A - 9353, 1º Dto.Cascais
She will help you in many different regional offices with her home office being very close to the greater Lisboa region.
She is so chill and easy to work with and knows heaps of people in government and knows how to make the system work in your best interest.
