Most come by car, some go on the school bus.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The school has excellent facilities including an indoor swimming pool, a very fancy theater, a computer lab, a large indoor sports area with A/C, soft play PE room with a ball pool, a covered playground with cushioned flooring, a canteen, library, clinic, Arabic as a Second Language and ESL classes, and a counselor.

There are extra curricular activities including: karate, swimming, cooking, soccer, homework help, English etc.

It could do with more books in the library and better omputer facilities but overall it's good.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The administration considered the background of my children and placed them appropriately into classes. The teachers are kind and professional. They make learning interesting.

The principal met with me personally on several occassions and she made sure that my child was happy and receiving all the support needed.

The counselor has taken an active role in seeing that my child is happy and settled and helps to deal with any issues arising.

There is a real family feel about the school and the children are happy and the staff are professional and kind.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

On parents days/open house you can talk with anyone we need to, and the door is always open to speak to management. Teachers quickly get back to our inquiries on the same day.

There are great concerts during the year and the kids look forward to them.

There is not a formal PTA.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Definitely recommend FBS, the discipline is good, the school is beautiful, the education is good and my child doesn't want to miss a day!
